To me, a deal is a deal. It's the time that's gone that it has'nt been paid for. If a date was agreed to that the truck would be paid for, and and picked up, and that did'nt happen, then by all rights the deposit if Forfeit, and the truck is still yours.
I would be thinking about how many oppurtunities you may have had to sell it and be paid in full, and have it picked up.
The other thing, if the person was good about comunicating with you, and updated you as to what's going on, than that may change things also.
