Please allow me to offer my opinion, I would go for the radial tire upgrade for a smoother ride and easier towing. Does this trailer have leaf springs or torsion tube axles? I have a Cronkite 16' trailer for my skid steer and mini-excavator with leaf springs and it does it's job well. My truck trailer is an Imperial 35' on which I haul my 59 W200 and 64 TownWagon and it has torsion axles. This is THE nicest pulling trailer I have ever hooked up to even with both trucks on it. I have also pulled my 64 TW and a friends 55 Power-Wagon to Tennesee and the only problem I had was to keep looking back to see if it was still behind me. It is a tri-axle trailer with self stowing ramps, my wife pulled it to Nebraska and back without a bit of trouble also. Good luck with whatever you decide.
