But to answer your question with an opinion: At operating temperatures the difference between 30 and 40wt is just about negligible. Find a viscosity/temperature chart- Machinery's Handbook has one. But since flat head PW's never get very hot, the multi viscosity-ness is probably not neccessary. I'd run whatever you feel like. whats on sale?
