Seems like most of the welding rigs I see driving around have Lincon welders on them also. Is it just that Lincon makes a better welder, or are they more reasonably priced?
I looked at a new Lincon SP175 plus, with cart and big bottle was just under $900 out the door. I think there would be limits with that machine though. Power Mig 215 is another $400, but it has 115v aux power outlets, or the big daddy is a Esab Migmaster 250 for $1695.
They also have a special on Oxy/Acetylene package till Jan 31. $400 out the door gets you the industrial cutting/welding outfit made by Harris, the cylinders, and a cart.
