About 6 months ago I searched hi and low for one of these. Actually found it locally.
Had it completly sandblasted and primered, built a boom, added the wire rope, etc, etc.
It now sits in the bed of my 1941 WC-12.
It really looks neat, but after one re-enacting event, I realized the extent of the room it actually takes in the bed of the truck! It has to come out so I good room for the troops.
I plan to remove it and sell it.
Anybody out there interested in something like this for the bed of there truck? It looks neat, and its funtional.Can be used around the farm for tasks. Its rated as a
3 ton winch, dual speed, multiple gearing. I easliy picked up the front of my jeep with it.
Can send photos to anyone interested.
