I probably had that coming after all the comments about the "Parts Pile." LOL. It's just that I had one for a lot of years also.=)
Roger, I never had an outside leak at all. I was talking about the design of the hatch. When you open them up in the rain the water tends to run down the darn hatch and inside instead of into the gutter. They could have made it a bit different so that wouldn't happen. Kind of a design flaw but they are super rigs, I think. Never had a bit of trouble and I was able to get better than 20 MPG with them. Yours would be a really great one to have. My cousin lives in Bend, Or where they tend to get a bit of snow in the winter and he tells me they are VERY popular there. I think the 2 speed transfer case was a model 229 (something like that) after hearing mention of the 119. If I recall that was the '80 model year single speed case.
