Hi Paul, was it just the geared ring that was larger, or the flywheel itself? (Rings are removeable from the flywheel) I know about the starter issue, but didn't know that the flywheel was larger, just that the tooth count was different. Do you know the year of the 360? Do you know if a manual bell would have worked? The hydraulic bell was phased out at about the time that the Poly was phased out, were both your 318 and 360 LA motors? That might have been the reason, later LA engines with an early Poly bell?
