And People wonder why I am stopping production and leaving the country!!! Why am I always the last person who is notified when there is a question about one of my products. The only reason I heard about this is that DC emailed it to me. I do not have time to hang out on the forum and check for questions such as this. EMAIL me. GM designed their rotors with 8 holes because the same bolts that hold the rotor on also hold the wheel on. The wheel is made of thin sheet metal if they used less than 8 lugs the wheel might deform under side loads. The rotor bolts are under shear only not tension. Nothing is going to shear off 4 5/8" grade 8 bolts. If you read the manual it explains this even though the pics still show the old 8 bolt version.
