I was born and brought up in the Southampton area, I lived in Southampton, Bridghampton, Easthampton, Watermill, and my Dad's family was from Sag Harbor. They owned properties in these towns so that's the reasons for the many moves.
My last name is Jacobs. My Grandfather was the Lock Master on the Shinnicok Canal (sp)... I'm 47 and Granpa Jacobs passed away in 1969 (I think).. (Black Lung) from the coal going in and out!
