I've got all the front sheet metal off, and started repairing those parts.
The Left Fender front mounting surface under the headlight has more root than I expected, I've now cut out a the area between two of the mounting holes.
Was able to straighten both fenders better than I expected, having not done it before.
Removed both of the rear mounts on the front fenders and will have to build new reinforcing plates to get rid of the root.
Straightened the Right Headlight guard.
Working on the Hood hinges right now. Got two good used ones, but I'm having to pull them apart and clean the pins and holes so they hinge freely. I hade one broke and the other frozen and bent hinge.
I've also removed the homemade heater and pulled the sound system out as well.
I've got to run to the F@#D dealer in the morning to arrange to get the Deer damage fixed, so that will slow me down a little. As for the "regular guys" weekend I'd much rather be doing what we do. I'll be off deer hunting next weekend, it will be good to see how much Pop and my brother have done to the WDX.
