Who the hell invented the punch card voting system?...

I waited for over an hour and a half to cast my vote today. This is my first time voting in my new town(recently moved to more rural area). They have the punch card voting system. Jesus Christ, what an archaic way to cast a vote. I thought those old voter machines with the zillions of little levers were bad! Couple punch cards with 80+ year old volunteers. Its a recipe for disaster! God help us all!
