I just went to another polling place, I was driving a friend who could not get home from work in time to vote without me.
They had 1000 of 2400 registered voters having voted at 5:00pm.
They felt they would reach 1500 by 8:00pm when the polls closed.
I asked a local cop on the scene if there had been any trouble, and the only thing he had heard about was a few people having signs to close to polling places. In other words, nothing unusual, and that is what I wanted to hear!
The local paper claims record turnout, we shall see!
