I keep a loaded 12 gauge with 3 in Mags rifled slugs in the magazine just in case. They only get allmost one chance to do wrong. You have to respect them and try not to look them in the eye when in with them. They take it as a challenge sometimes. When the cows are in heat they have a one track mine don't get between them and open the gate they will go thru the fence no problem. Mark H.
