Thanks for the help. It does seem surge brakes are the way to go. I checked on the trailer this morning and someone had done the buy it now deal. Then I get an email from the seller saying the buyer is from overseas and wants him to do all kinds of things with the payment. Sound familliar? So, I may wind up with it yet. I emailed the seller back and told him of the scam these bozo's use. Keeping my fingers crossed!
