the sequence number 114351 indicates it is a 1961 model, so it should have a Poly 318.
Look at the valve cover bottoms to see if they are serrated, jagged egded, scalloped,
shark finned...."
or simply, do the valves cover bolts go thru the middle (poly) or around the edges (LA).....
not sure about the flex plate and auto tranny interchangeablilty between the LA and Poly and 727....
