I've heard good things about Pertronix, especially on engines that can't use the Mopar Performance electronic ignition upgrade. They're supposed to be good according to a lot of posts I've read.
Hmmm, getting out of school, huh? Well, one of the first engines I did any hard learning on was a 1950 Coronet Diplomat flattie 6-banger, but that was a few years ago, probably before your mom and dad were even born ha haha!
I'm glad you're interested in these great vehicles, and that there are some good young men like you to carry on some fine old traditions.
