Hello, Dodge friends,

I talked with my dad last night and learned that he has a line on a '95 two-wheel-drive club cab. The transmission is the five-speed manual. I told him I'd check with the Dodge brotherhood (and sisterhood) here to see if there are any issues with the model and gather some opinions.

Are there any issues particular to this year/model that he should be aware of before proceeding?

Here are the basics:
'95 Dodge 3500 club cab two-wheel drive, six-cylinder Cummins Turbo Diesel, five-speed manual transmission, receiver hitch

It has 26x,xxx miles on it -- "highway miles," of course ;-). A great deal of that was racked up pulling a 36' travel trailer (reportedly the owner before the current one was a traveling evangelist).

The body is in really good shape, Pop said, but there is some peeling of paint on the cab roof (he's not too concerned with that, BTW). He said the interior is "clean," and there is a good-looking aftermarket stereo system in it as well (the stereo doesn't sway him much, either). ;-)

It's due for an oil change, the seller says.

Asking price is $6,500; Pop says he can get it for $6,200.

So, any big red flags on this big red pickup?

When I asked him if he needed this much truck, he said, "No -- but I might." ;-)

Thanks for any advice,
Chris
