Have you checked the spark with the plugs pulled and wires connected to plugs, with plug body grounded to engine, to check for spark across the gap?
Could be the wires have enough continuity to make spark to engine ground but not enough to jump spark gap under cylinder pressures. Did you put in new wires also? This problem of weak spark from bad wires could be worsened by a failing coil.
