I'm not quite sure on this trans swap.
I bought a 1953 Dodge 1/2 ton pickup from a friend at work.He got it from his grandmother after his grandpa died.His grandpa bought the truck new.
Anyway he wrecked a late 80's Dodge pickup.He remove the cab and front sheet metal from the 1953 and mounted it on the later Dodge.
I bought the rest of the truck from him.It has a recent rebuild on the 230 six motor,it has a very good condition stepside long bed.But after wiping the dirt and grease off the trans,it's a NP435.
My question: isn't that a later model trans?If it is, it looks to be a drop in, bolt up deal?
I was going to see if John Deere Green Mark wanted to use this trans in his FFPW he's selling.
