The NP435 works for a repower. The one I have is married to a NP205. That is probably more modern metal than you want.

Is the buyer thinking he wants a NP420? I have an old Power Wagon Advertiser article that describes that swap. Use a M37 tranny on your bellhousing or get a Np420 and bellhousing from a late-model Power Wagon. Use the WM300 center and left floor boars. If you are using a PTO, you'll need the WM300 brake pedal. The article has some other details about throwout bearing and such. I can get you a copy-that is if Gordon isn't fussy about copyright.

It's a shame the buyer won't try driving the truck as is. Double clutching is part of the fun of driving a Power Wagon. That skill will still be needed, because the NP420 only gains you one synchonizer.
