Hi all,
I plan on doing a power steering conversion on my Power Wagon this fall or winter. As some of you know, I plow with my truck. I have a plow pump mounted where the power steering pump will want to go. I am leery about adding another belt driven item to the engine, assuming each one will rob more power. I also have an electric/hydraulic dump bed. Any thoughts on how to consolidate some of the redundancy of 3 different hydraulic pumps? The dump bed isnt really a problem, and is probably not part of the solution. But, is there any sort of pump which will do both power steering and the plow hydraulics?
