I bought this bubble balancer thinking it would work for Power Wagon wheels. If it does, I can’t figure out how. It has a normal size hub for balancing regular-size, hubcentric wheels. Then it has an adjustable adapter for large rims. What surprised me is smallest rims it appear to fit would be about 18”. Then it is adjustable up to about 23”. I don’t claim to know how it is meant to be used, but it looks like it might work for Gamma Goat rims, 19.5”, or 20” wheels.

Could it be that this adapter is meant for balancing a tire before it is mounted on the wheel? You can put a Power Wagon tire on the balancer, but the wheel won’t fit. Would it be helpful to match the heavy part of the tire against the heavy part of the wheel?

The balancer uses air pressure to float the tire on a pedestal. In that respect it is nicer than those that balance on a needle.

If anyone can use it, it can be had for $100, shipped. It weighs 55lbs so I am probably loosing money by the time I pay for shipping.
