I've always wanted to meet someone local that had interest in this stuff & worked at a tire shop. Most tire guys have zero interest in their job...just get the tires on & get lost.
I'd love to take the rims down & run them on their wheel balancer to see how far out of balance the wheel is. It would be easy to do a little welding or grinding on them to make them perfect but without a high speed balancer it would be impossible.
Same with mounting the tires...usually they don't balance these beasts but these were balanced from Dodge originally. I've got the weights off the rims & the fronts still had original tires on it so why not balance them?
I'm told XL's are very well balanced tires so I think it's possible.
