For the price of the bearing, I would buy and use it. The retainer is #21. If you can get the spacer out, use a magnet to see if there are any shims behind it. If not, it's going to be difficult to determine the proper adjustment without getting the bearings too tight. Put the TC in neutral so you can spin the driven gear easily. If there are no shims you may need to buy some from Dodge, the numbers are in the PIF. Install the bearing and yoke, and tighten the nut securely. You want to adjust the gear so it turns freely without play.
