I have a 230 out of a 1954 non pw truck that I was going to used to repower my C1 pw, (which had a 215 in it). Tearing it down I broke 4 head bolts then broke a extractor off in the first one I tried to fix, what luck. I have another motor that I can't identify by number C2936 is all that is stamped on it. It appears to be the same except for one gear on the front of the crank instead of two like the '54 motor had. Can anyone tell me what the motor originally was used for and if the single crank gear is correct for pw's? tia
