The D & W 300's up 61-71 have a straight frame. I have heard that the W frames are 1/16 thicker than the D frames but have not measured.
from the top of fender (where the hood rests to the bottom in the center of the wheel well is about 5 1/2" on a D or W 100 & 200
and is about 11 1/2" on a W-300
some where in the 100 & 200 the frame changed in width at the rear, as a 71 100 is the same width as a 300 frame about 34".
a receiver hitch from a 200 will not work on a 100 or 300 on the 71s, I assume that it 's that way from 69 up to 71
Have not measured but assume that the spring pads set at the same width on all 61-71,s
