He said it felt "funny" and when he slowed down to 55 it was fine. After we found the problem, we drove 45 mph for 400 miles, plus stopped every 30 miles to let the remaining tire cool down. That remaining tire provided exceptional duty! It took 16 hours to drive that 400 mile strech. In west Texas there isn't much in the way of services between Sanora and El Paso, Ft. Stockton wasn't too lively at 2AM...
