The combat rims look great on any old Dodge. As to merit??? Not much. Originally designed to run w/ thicker sidewall "combat" tires, slightly smaller very gummy self sealing inner tubes, and an inner bead lock band the entire package was an early "run flat" setup that allowed the vehicle to be driven even with the tires deflated (as in shot out!). Without the inner bead lock band to keep the bead secured to the rim combat rims are of little merit...but they have great sex appeal...in a heavy iron sort of way.
