I have probably put at least 500 mi on the 6at,GM sm465 tranny, 5.83s. Driving it like I stole it in mixed city/hwy driving = 15.6 mpg. Pulls most local hills in 4th if the speed is 35+. Boost tops out at 14 psi. Tractor like offroad performance. 1st gear high range does areas I would use low low with the flattie in the other M37. Now I just need powerstering. Top speed is around 65 but it is loud above 50-55. I like it a lot so far. May switch rear diff to 4.89 to see if it performs well with that ratio. Low low might have relevance then.
