The multi-radial-engine sound is music. The best such sound comes from the combination of odd number of cylinders and even number of propeller blades, or vice versa. Like a nine cylinder radial turning a four bladed prop. I don't know about the physics, but it sure sounds like heaven. If I were wealthy, I might be able to afford such music on occasion. I think it is sweeter still when someone else is footing the bill!
