Mark H., you sure got me going on the COOT investigation. With your first post, I drooled, since I wanted one SO BADLY when a youth. I remember a Popular Mechanics article about ATVs in the late 60s or early 70s, that included the COOT. Of course, $2k was beyond my means as a paperboy, so it never came to be. Now I'm hoping to find an old restorable one around here. I also contacted the COOT2 people and got a dealer brochure. Their DVD was interesting, but they muted the sound, and I kept thinking, why not just hike? A COOT would be handy for hunting, or any time you had to haul lots of stuff where you can not drive the Power Wagon. That's not too often! I guess if I wanted one $11-15k worth, I'd have to make it myself! They want you to buy two right off, at 83%, and two more within 6 months. Pretty big investment, and no guarantee you can sell them at a profit. And the new ones don't have those attractive Power Wagon like NDTs. Anyway, thanks for the memories.
Tom
