I was hopping someone could help me out on the timing of a 236.6 flat head out of a 50 desoto. I would think it should be the same as the 230 or 251 but I am not sure what that is either. I know the motor is a bit warn out but I am getting a miss in the mid RPM range. I plan on changing the pints and condenser again and rebuilding the carb. I was hopping someone could clue me in on the the timming issue. I am getting like 7MPG and she won't go over 50 unless it is down hill. My last 230 would hold 65 unless it was a big hill.
