Eric, It is the shiney part that the bearings ride on. I think that the part number inthe pictue you posted is 2.03.3.
The wheel cylinder was leaking so I got kits from the local parts house and everything went great until I tried to put the axle back in and the eight holes wouldn't line up with the studs in the hub. The axle looks straight, but when you get it almost all the way in, it feels like it is hitting on the back of the spindle, so it won't let it line up. When I looked at the spindle I can tell it is slightly bent in the direction of the misalignment. Is spindle the right word for this part? The truck ran great and just needed to stop a little brake fluid leak! I live in Comanche Texas, which is close to nowhere. I am about 120 miles south west of DFW.
