We've been in smoke most of the summer. Visability been less than 1/4 mile much of it. The Boundry Fire (closest one to Fairbanks, AK) burned over 100,000 acres alone. Heck, we even made the Sept issue of National Geographic. They are blamming the bad fires on global warming. (lead into Dodge Content and shameless plug for a natural gas pipeline)
If anyone wants to do there part in reducing emmissions, write your freindly politician and tell them they need to build a natural gas pipeline in Alaska. Then convert your old flat head six to burn it. I've got the part numbers for the bolt on replacment carb and other parts needed to burn the stuff and your old Dodge won't have much else than water vapor coming out the pipe. Then when the bunny huggers send ya'll a letter offering to take your old polluter off the road and crush it for 500 bucks you can really tell them where to go.
