You're probably pretty close Eric. The NP435 was phased in for the 1964's but some early 1964's have the NP420, the horn button changed from red in 1963, to silver in 1964, but the dang thing is missing. Here is where it gets wierd, I ran that block number, it is a serial number for a 170 slant 6 short block. A series -1 motor. Dodge trucks ALL had the 225 \6 after 1961, and series -2 after 1963, so that may be why he thought he had a '58? The only post \6 170 powered Sweptline was in the 1961 D100. We are looking at a W200 shortie is my guess, or a heavy half (8 lugs) with the Dana 44 front and the Dana 60 rear as taken from his GVW numbers. His serial # of 10910054 doesn't compute. It is missing numbers and the first two digits are the model code, there is no model code 10. The number in sequence of production may have been 1961, but that truck is NOT a 1961, Post your new numbers if you get them!
