Well maybe the 7,800 lbs might be to much for it. Most of the towing is flat ground except for a 4 mile hill that I down shift to 2nd on it for part of it anyway. 6,000 lbs would give me a 2 ton load of hay on the trailer (5,800 lbs) under the military HYW ratings in the manual. Just wondering how slow, SLOW would be doing this? Time is not a problem 99% of the time no cars on this road. Guess I could load my 4,000 lb tractor on the trailer and see how it pulls for a test, I do have some steep hills near my house on our dirt road. Hate to load it with hay and find out. I only need to make 2 more trips getting it. Just wonderd if anyone ever pulled a heavy load with a M-37. Mark H.
