I am one of the founders of The Second Wind Fund and I wanted to make you folks aware of this fund-raiser we have going on right now. Second Wind provides money for emergency counselling for teens at risk of suicide that don't have insurance. We are just starting our third year in the Jefferson County schools in Colorado. Our first year we made $6k, last year $22k, this year we're looking at $50k+. We've had 56 kids referred to our program in the last two school years and three referrals this week. If any of you are interested in donating, you can do it on the website or you can contact me (I can tie you up to matching funds). This program fills a big hole in the Denver-metro area as I'm sure it could in many parts of the country. I would be willing to help any of you that might want to do this in your own communities.
