or (somebody has to say it) a cracked head. how is compression on rest of cylinders? if all are bad, your cam timing may have slipped. easy check for that is put a timing light on it... if cam is out of time due to slipped chain, your ignition timing will show way way (like 20 degrees) retarded. I'm admittedly unfamilliar with the engine in question, but all the above applies as long as you have a chain driven cam (unlikely with gear driven cam) and the distributor is driven off the cam. also could be broken rings, but unlikely to fail two cyls at once this way. good luck.
