Many military vehicles have wrong date, my 1952 M37 is titled a 1954. It's only a piece of paper didn't make much difference to me, I figure if I try to change it might get into a mess with the state and end up having an inpection or something. I always wondered if these vehicles were bought in large numbers and titles just processed at a guess for the year.
