So interesting!

Thanks for the reply!

The cab has the gas filler opening on the driver's side, and it's not patched up. It also has an oval shaped opening on the cab floor behind the driver's seat.

The windshield has the crank out knob, or what's left of it.

The inside of the cab has remnants of that dark forest green color that so many old trucks seem to have been painted.

The wiring is a mess, and somewhere along the way someone taped it back together with black electrical tape.

The passenger door has an old metal Budd tag on it, and both doors seem to match the cab, plus there is the remnants of some kind of white lettering on the lower parts of the doors. I'll try to read it.

The bed has an old brass plate partially obscured with OD paint, the word "Requisition" is visible as is the date of delivery, 2/25/42.

The cab and bed both seem to be equally weathered, and I'll spend more time looking at the remnants of the paint on various parts of the truck tonight.

One never knows, eh?

Thanks for all the info!

vince
