What about the windshield operating device?
Does it have the crank out knob in the center of the dash, or the levers on the sides of the winshield pillers ( like a ww2 jeep)

Also, check on the inside near the rear door area for a patched over hole where the civy
gastank opening would have been.

My wc-12 has a civy cab as well. When I first got into this hobby and this truck, all the
"experts" told me that some civilian owner after the war must have put a closed cab civilian cab on an open cab truck frame.... No factory installed cabs of this type...

But, along with you and me, a few others I have
heard about have the same combination.

Mine had the original, suppressed wiring and components under the hood. Also, Olive drab paint under these components and inside of the glove compartment ( on top of civilian "blue") Would a civy owner go thru the trouble of putting on all of the suppresed
wiring and stuff?

Could the factory, maybe running out of military
closed cabs, gone over to the civilian truck line
and borrowed a few civy cabs to keep the
assembly line of army trucks rolling?

Anyone out there with more info on this?
