I need some help figuring out the correct routing of the hydraulic brake lines and vacuum line in my 1960 D100 Panel. While it is not a Power Wagon it does have a flathead 230 and I figure that the lines were very much the same as in the Power Wagons. This truck was completely disassembled and the reassemble is underway. It does no good to look at the pictures I took before I disassembled it because there had been so many modifications (including the installation of an LA 360 and the use of some lamp cord for wiring - another long UGLY story) that none of the previous hydro/vacuum lines were usable or even in the correct location/arrangement. Specific questions are as follows:

1.) Routing of vacuum line from carburetor to distributor. I have seen it run over the top of the head (the most direct route) and I have seen it run underneath the water pump (between the water pump and front engine mount) is either of these routes correct?

2.) Front brake lines seem to want to hard connect to the frame rails on either side and then go the distance between frame rail and wheel cylinder in hydraulic hose. This is a distance of over 1'-0" each side. That seems like a fairly long distance to run flexible hydraulic hose. Any suggestions?

3.) It seems that the hydraulic clutch line should run over the top of the bell housing to the clutch master cylinder. Is this correct?

I've taken up alot of space. It might be easier if someone had a photo of a completed engine compartment that is correct.
