Is it still possible to get a wiring harness for a '47 WDX PW? Some things on mine work but I really don't understand car electrical and am stumped. I have a wiring diagram and most of the diagram matches the truck but a few things don't which is really weird because it looks like all the wires are origonal. instead of the 2 generater wires hooking directly to the regulator, all the wires go into the fire wall and then the 3 for the regulator come back out and hook up. I can't see very well under the dash but it looks like they go to the ameter first ( most all the wires do) the diagram shows just the one wire coming off the regulater into the firewall and hooking to the ameter and it also shows only 3 wires hooked to the ameter. This wiring diagram is from a c-4 I think but as far I know they should be the same, is that right? I hope I worded this so that it makes sense but its the best I could do.
The headlights work and all the guages work but none of the inside lights work (panel lights, dome light) Should I just keep the old wiring in it and try to make the lights work? for all I know the lights could be burnt out. And that leads to another thing how do the panel lights come out, do you twist them out or pull or whats the trick? And now the last question, how do the switches come out (headlight switch, etc) I've heard that there is some special trick to it.
I know this is a lot of questions for one shot but I am very confused right now and I don't know what I should do.
Thanks for all your continued help
