As I sit here at the office I do not have access to my truck so I can't inspect the data plate to answer your question. I do not recall there being an RPM figure on the data plate on the door jam. However, there is another data plate on the lower front of the engine block just above the oil pan that indicates that the engine was manufactured at the Chrysler Industrial Division and that it has a cid of 361 and RPM of 4000(?). I recall the horsepower being only 200, which is about what the 318-2 is rated. I would of thought it would have been higher given the increased displacement. I have all the data plate information written down somewhere at home so I will try to locate my notes and get back to you. What is your email address?
