As far as the chrome moulding search goes, I'm still
looking. Although, a truck pooped up near me(Drew, you've
probably seen the ad) It has all the chrome I need,
but he wants too much for the truck, just to take the chrome off it.
I am still waiting to hear about the weatherstripping for the
side windows on my panel. I'm getting the inner fenderwells
off right now, and will send them out to be powder coated "semi gloss"
black, and while their out, I will be stripping the firewall, core support
etc..for paint. I've narrowed it down to 2 color
combo's, either Pastel yellow and white(like on a 57 chevy)
or forest green and white..I'm leaning toward the
yellow. I'm really exited about finaly getting that
engine compartment show ready. I got a taste of that feeling
on friday, I took my 70 440+6 Roadrunner to a show
last weekend, and took home the 68-70 B-body First place trophy,
but between you and I, think the panel is much more
of a show stopper, it just needs to be a detailed
well enough to compete with the chevy's and fords...
anyway. Eric and Drew, hope all is well, cant wait to hang
out again, and let me know the status of the rubber moulding
and the chrome trim. Thanks
