Today marks the aniversery of an interesting day. 25 years ago today, Was born Christopher Lublin, Better known as Lube or the Redneck Dodge Truck Man, or JunkDawg. The Other day My Darling Mother Seen that my subscription card to renew the PWA was sitting on the table, so God Bless her Dear heart, for my Birthday she Re-Newed it. Wow, that is awesome. Honestly, it could not get much better than that, can it guys? I have the day off work today also, which makes it more pleasant for shure.

This year and month marks another important Milestone in my life. It was about 2 weeks after my 15th birthday in September 1994 that I bought my first vehicle, a 1971 Dodge D-200 Camper Special. The pic in the message is of that truck. I shure do miss her. This is the truck that started a lifelong obsession with old Mopars, Mostly Sweptlines, Power Wagons, and A-Bodies. Just think, if I had bought the 69 Chevy I had first looked at a month before the Dodge, I would be posting this message at a 67-72 Chevy truck Message board right now! It has been almost 3 years since I last owned a Sweptline, but they are still my favorite among favorites. I will own several more, its just the time is not right.

THose of you who remember seeing my postings on this message board and a few others over the years will know, that when I was in my late teens, I was quite the know-it-all, who had too many projects and NEVER completed them. I have come to find out, as I grow older, I know less and less! I used to have this goal to write the ULTIMATE Everything youd want to, and need to know book on Power Giants and Sweptlines, But seeing I been trying to get my life started and on the move, I Have disbanded from that goal. It has been quite a dissapointment to quite a few folks, and I am sorry, But I need to accomplish more important life things first. There are other people out there who would be much more at task for a job like that then I. I have also curbed my tendancy to buy a whole ton of junk trucks and try to build 1 out of several. I have come to find that even here in Michigan, you can buy 10 trucks to build one out of, and STILL Not have enuff good parts to get the one from!

Well, I need to get a couple loads of scrap ran in, so Take care every one, God Bless!

Chris "Lube" Lublin
