Don't know why your panties are in such a wad, but if you look at your own photos you will see that the top of the Poly head (that's the part where the valve cover goes) is clearly two inches wider than the LA. The LA head may be a fraction wider at the base, but the "working" area of the Poly is much wider as well. Also your own photo shows the Poly valve cover to be 1/2" wider as well. You sure went to great effort to get those photos arranged, nothing going on today, huh?
