..everyone who made the water run at VT, should be pulling their inspection plates, draining their axles and transfer cases and transmissions, unless they had previously waterproofed their rigs. Even in rigs built for water crossings, water has a way of getting in there, and left unchecked it will turn your truck into an oxidized glob of junk while it is parked. Transfer cases, transmissions, axles and differentials all have breather vents and/or poor seals that can allow water inside. If your brakes are not dried out prior to parking in storage, you may find your trucks are rusted in place the next time you try to go for a drive....
