California has been doing that for years, offering people just a few hundred bucks for their older vehicles regardless of what shape they are in. It is part of that Clunker legislation they keep trying to pass. They wanna get the older vehicles off the road.
I gotta drive the Cummins Diesel truck to work tomorrow. It hasnt been run in over a week, so, it will be running quite ruff till it gets warm. I think to 'celebrate' I will open the throttle up, soon as I hit the road and blow black smoke all over the place to help with the 'local air quality' (and piss off all the tree huggers!)
