SAFETY FIRST. Then, "Slow and Easy". Do MORE than you have to do to exercise 110% caution and when you chain and secure a load, do an overkill. Another one of Doug's Lesson's From the Road: If people get mad at you for going too slow, get over and let them by. Don't speed up, cause as soon as you do, you lose your load and NO ONE who was honking at you to go faster will stop and help you re-bind or pick things up.
